The Rolex GMT-Master II Ref. 116710BLNR, known among collectors as the "Batman," marked a milestone as the first Rolex to feature a two-tone Cerachrom bezel in black and blue. Crafted in corrosion-resistant 904L Oystersteel, the 40mm Oyster case is fitted with a bidirectional rotatable bezel designed for tracking a second time zone via the 24-hour graduated scale.

The black lacquer dial provides exceptional clarity, featuring Chromalight luminescent markers and hands, including the signature blue GMT hand. This reference retains the classic right-hand crown and date display at 3 o’clock, magnified by the Cyclops lens.

Powered by the Rolex caliber 3186, this model features a Parachrom hairspring for enhanced shock resistance and magnetic stability. The self-winding movement delivers a 48-hour power reserve and smooth, reliable dual-time functionality.
